Countdown to the World Race: 8 Days!

We are 82% fundraised—praise God! It has been such an honor to be supported in this way, and truly a gift from God to have so many of you partnering with me on this journey. The last two weeks have been an extravagant reminder of God’s grace and faithfulness to provide. One of my favorite verses is John 10:10: “I have come that you might have life and have it in abundance.” Jesus has poured out His abundance and favor on me, and I am in awe.

Thank you to everyone who has chosen to partner with me, both financially and through prayer. I have been so encouraged by the Lord’s faithfulness and by the conversations I’ve been able to have about what He is doing in me and through me.

The last two weeks have been filled with appointments, vaccines, packing, and celebrating my bestfriend’s wedding. It’s a bittersweet season as I say goodbye to my home in SoCal, but I’m so grateful for the people and memories that have made this place home.

I’m looking forward to my launch date on August 28th, when I’ll meet my squad and take the next step in this journey. I’m excited to see what adventures lie ahead!

Practical Needs

I have a couple of practical needs in these final days. One of those needs is help with the final stages of moving out. If you are available to help Friday, Saturday, or Sunday with packing up my belongings and helping load a couple of cars, please let me know! I’ll then let you know the specific times when we’ll need help.

Another need is the final push with my last 18% of fundraising: $1,537. If you know of anyone who would consider partnering with me financially, please share my fundraising link with them. Other ways you could support me would be sharing about my trip and fundraising need with your small groups, Bible studies, house churches, or sharing my fundraising posts on Facebook or Instagram.
